Our Beliefs

BELIEFS

We Believe... ...that every child is precious to God and grows into a valuable pearl when given successive layers of care, love, kindness, knowledge, and challenge. ...that every student has the potential to succeed and to go beyond what they believe they can. ...that every student deserves a quality education for a bright future, and needs to participate in their education. ...that every parent has the primary responsibility to train and equip their children in character, discipline, and growth.

Statement of Faith

SMN believes in the cardinal doctrines of the Christian faith, namely that God exists in three persons - the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit; that Jesus Christ was born by virgin birth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross in payment for our sins, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven; that all men are sinners and thus separated from God, and in need of salvation; and that salvation only comes through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

VALUE

As a member of the Christian school community, there are core values and beliefs that we all share as a common goal in education: the Bible. Knowledge ay increase one’s ability to make a living, but godly wisdom teaches us how to live. The objective of a Christian school is to provide both to prepare every student spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially.

PHILOSOPHY

The ultimate purpose of SMN is to facilitate the student’s spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth so that students can glorify God with all their heart, soul, strength, and mind. This growth is realized from integrating God’s truth and educational knowledge that students can apply and synthesize into their daily lives, ultimately developing them into all that God has made them to be.
